Grilled vegetables, steamed broccoli, cauliflower rice and grilled chicken thighs; top it all off with our pineapple teriyaki sauce and you have delicious Chicken Teriyaki! This classic cooking technique was introduced to the western world in the 1960s when Japanese immigrants began settling in Hawaii, and since then it has become a staple across the United States. While undeniably delicious, one of the main components of teriyaki sauce is sugar, which poses a problem to many Americans. Fortunately, we've found a solution to this issue without compromising any of the sweet, sticky qualities that make for a good teriyaki sauce. Salty, sweet, and totally free of added sugars, this meal is everything you want out of a teriyaki dish, and nothing more.
We suggest heating for one and a half to two minutes in a microwave or 15-20 minutes in a 350 F oven.
Want to mix it up? Stir a tablespoon of our freshly milled almond butter into your teriyaki sauce to boost healthy fats and flavor.
